Spring has finally arrived here in the Pacific Northwest!  Time to get out and enjoy our great weather!

Spring can be a great and varied theme for photographers, and sometimes it's easy to get caught up in all those colors and textures!  Remember, focus, focus, focus - and I don't mean only the camera!  Look at the scene that attracts you, then stop and ask what it is that is catching your attention - color, texture, light?  Then, work with that element to highlight it keeping it the key part of the image.  You will find that you can get some great shots by eliminating extraneous things that take the viewer away from the subject matter.  And remember, the most important thing - HAVE FUN!
