Life is a Journey
Whether you are a photographer or just a traveller on your life road, we all need to know that, as the saying goes, life is a journey, not a destination. How we choose to take that journey, and how we interact with those around us determines much of how that journey goes.
A friend and I had a long deep conversation about this just a few days ago. We discussed that when we give of ourselves, live fully and compassionately, with love, life is more complete. Even when there are bumps - or huge obstacles - along the way, when we live in this manner, we can surmount them. When we are aware of others more than of oneself, when we can be awake in every moment and "be there" only then we are fully alive and aware of every step on that road. In essence, it is the law of causality - for every action, there is a reaction. As we sow, so shall we reap.
So how is your journey? Are you truly present, living in the now, open to the miracle of each moment? The path is here - right beneath our feet.
Do not overlook any good actions, thinking they are of no benefit; even tiny drops of water in the end will fill a huge vessel.
Do not overlook negative actions merely because they may seem small; however small a spark may be, it can burn down a haystack as big as a mountain.
